You have probably heard of the term “superfood.” It is considered to be a food rich in nutrients that are healthy for our bodies.  Superfoods simply satisfy your vitamin and mineral requirements.  This may help you in losing a little weight.  How?  Well some researchers believe that when we satisfy our bodies nutrient requirement we have less cravings for food and we tend to eat less.  Researchers also believe that superfoods may protect against persistent disease, as well as give your immune system and added boost.


What Are Superfoods?

Superfoods are considered to be aids in helping to optimize your body’s ability to function.  They do this by simply supplying our body with a megadose of healthy nutrients.

But what exactly are superfoods? There really is no set definition that defines a superfood, they tend to be foods that are rich with nutrients and help give your body the right vitamins and minerals we need to thrive and feel good.
